Tommy Walker needs to die.

I know that sounds dramatic but keep in mind he’s not an actual person. If you don’t know, Tommy Walker is the oldest son on ABC’s Brothers and Sisters. Since the beginning of the show, Tommy (and for that matter his entire family) has been the most useless, throw away character on the show. Most times his story lines are useless or annoying.

Now the actor who plays him, Balthazar Getty (who I am not in favor of killing for the record) has been causing problem on the set and rumor has it he will be let go from the show or be significantly downgraded. I feel that he should be killed off with his wife.

The reason I feel this way is that Tommy’s gay brother Kevin donated the sperm to create the couple’s daughter Lizzy. In the last episode Tommy made Kevin sign a paper stating that he wouldn’t tell the little girl the truth about her parentage. Kevin is not the kind of character that would do that and only ever wanted to be a good uncle.

Now how interesting would it be if Tommy and Julia died and there was no will stating who would get custody? Would it go to Kevin the biological father who has given up all rights to her and his young gay husband? Would it go to over barring Grandmother Nora, who needs to control everything and has raised five children as proof she’s able? Or how about sister Kitty Walker-McAllister and her husband Senator (and former Presidential candidate) Robert McAllister, who have been trying to adopt for I believe two seasons now?

I can just imagine the amount of fighting the explosive family would create, not to mention the ratings boost and accolades for the actors such a story line would create. Face it ABC, Tommy Walker is more valuable to you dead then he ever was alive.
